I am writing to you, Ralph and Shirley for the wonderful care I've received over the last year during my pregnancy and now post pregnancy!

As you know I have suffered from Rheumatoid Arthritis from the age of nine. Progressively over the last twenty years it has spread to more joints and in the last ten years it has remained in the joints of my feet without remission. About three years ago, after a year on anti-cancer medication called Methotrixate prescribed by my Rheumatologist, my health became much worse. As a result I decided to do my own research into the disease as I was not finding the medication helpful, if anything it seemed to be hastening my health problems. As part og that research, I looked to the USA and to the UK/Europe for other treatments for people with my condition. From that research I found that overseas there were other treatments available that appeared to strengthen the immune system and provide significant relief if not cure those with the same disease. Obviously to go overseas for treatment would be a very expensive exercise, so after much research I found your clinic in Australia which I believe to be one of its kind. Your clinic offers a lot of treatments that are widely available in the USA and UK/Europe.

Since commencing treatment, I have noticed a marked improvement in reduced stiffness in my joints. In addition, the treatment provided much needed relief to assist me through my pregnancy without taking any medication which could have harmed my baby. Post pregnancy, I have had a Rheumatoid flar up in one of my finger joints. Without the help of your clinic I would be forced to give up breastfeeding and go back onto drug therapy which is not in the best interest of my baby's health or mine.

I cannot express in the words the immense relief I have found from the treatment protocol provided by yourself and Ralph. If there is anything I can do to assist the Hope Clinic in maintaining such a tremendous service to the community in Australia please don'hestitate to ask.
